We were asked to plan an extension to our parents' home on the basis of a previous analysis of the existing situation.

In this exercise I present an analysis of the process of expanding my parents' apartment (about 100 sm  over the years).

Based on a statistical analysis of this process, I could predict the continuation of the expansion process. I planned to expand my parents' apartment on the basis of that expected volume, the expected family needs (in a utopian state in which all members of the family stay in the same house) and in accordance with the "spirit" of planning and the existing expansion.

Accordingly, the expansion of the building was done horizontally, spreading and integrating between the roofs of the neighbouring buildings, which examines a new expansion method that differs from the vertical way in which buildings generally expand
